The facade works as a large screen making the streetside part of the restaurant and the restaurant a showcase towards the street. It announces the menu and the current exhibition. Looking in from the outside, a neutral, wide and open space is perceived, which gives prominence to the works of art and some luminous objects. The functional program is organized along a wide corridor that extends in a straight line from the huge entrance door. Right next to the entry the bar and some coffee tables are located. Further in, parallelly aligned tables impose their geometric order to the irregular volume. Specially designed benches allow inner storage of clothing and bags. The work of the chefs can be contemplated in the open kitchen. Following the central corridor, a luminous tube traverses the room. It is a universal service element: illuminates, emits music, supplies cold and heat, projects images on the wall, removes the smoke and blows in fresh air through the perforated wall in the back. For special events, tables can be lifted up and fixed in an upright position. All bar and kitchen furniture have wheels and can be removed and fixed in a different position.
